We are going to start by drawing a circle. Now that you have your circle drawn. Let’s bring it to life so we are going to basically come in and draw another circle inside. So, we can give our alarm clock a border. So, we are just going to slowly try our best to go all the way around this and follow our outside circle.

Step 2 – Drawing hour points and the center

Now, you have a little border all around. Let’s come in and let’s find the center. We are going to find the center of this circle. We are going to give a point, the 12 o’clock point. We are going to come straight down and give another circle for six o’clock. Do it again for nine o’clock. Then, go right for three o’clock.

So, now you have these points.  Let’s imagine the center. In that area, we are going to draw a small heart. So, this is where the hands of the clock is going to come from. So, a little heart right in the center.

Step 3 – Drawing bells

From there, let’s come up. We are going to start to draw some details. Draw a top button. It is going to be nicely centered and from there, let’s come to the side. We are  going to draw two angle lines.

From there, we are going to draw another angle line. So, that is going to be the bell part. We are just going to fill it in with a dome for our bell. Now, try to do that on the other side. We are going to bring this point, drag it all the way across. Drag another point. Draw an angle line. Then, we draw a dome so it is about the same length and let’s draw our dome. We are going to attempt to draw the dome. We are not too off, right. So, we have our two bells in.

Step 4 – Drawing minute points

Let’s see what we can do here first. Now, we are going to draw at 10 and 11 o’clock. Just give yourself a few lines. Just nicely space it out. So, one, two, three, four and five. Just space it out as best as you can.

Now, let’s bring this alarm clock to life. So, we are just going to put in a circle – a nice big circle—and the same thing on the other side. Then, let’s make them draw some cute eyes. Two small circles inside for highlights, a curved line at the bottom, shade on the top. And add the lines at the bottom and the same thing on the other side. Now, the eyes are in. Let’s come in the center and give it a sweet smile. So just a little curve and cap it off.

Step 6 – Drawing hands and time sticks

Now, you should draw the legs of this alarm clock. We are just going to draw a little circle for the legs. Go all the way around and if you want, you can come up and then just drop very lightly curves. Two curves around each bell to make it look like it is on. That makes it look like it is ringing. Let’s come up and draw a little curve on top of each eye to anchor the eyes.
