How to Draw Pusheen Drinking Boba

Ensure you have the following supplies ready:

Step 1 – Drawing ears

To draw cute Pusheen, let’s first start by drawing a soft curve in the center for the top of her head. It is just a very  soft curve. Then, we are going to go up for her ears on both sides. Let’s go up, round off the tip and then bring it down. Add the same thing to the other side. Round off the tip and down. Then, from there, let’s just bring that curve down. Widen out for her body, and let’s see. 

Step 2 – Drawing upper part of face

We are going to draw her stripes, so we are just going to put in three U to create her stripes. Then, we are going to come down. Find your center. We are going to draw her mouth. So, we are going to come straight down with a line. Then, we are going to curve up. Because she is drinking Boba, we are making this a lot deeper for her mouth. Then, from there, we are going to come to the sides. We are just going to draw a soft curve for her eyes. Make her super happy. And add another soft curve and thicken it up. 

Step 3 – Drawing body

From there, let’s bring down Pusheen’s body more. Let’s come all the way down. We are just going to get a little bit wider. We are going to start to bring it in. Just take a look, see how tall you want to make Pusheen. We will start to bring it in. Just draw up an ovalish shape at the bottom. We are just going to start to curve in. Go back and forth to create this big Pusheen shape. We are going to start to bring it in. Let’s go ahead and connect it. It is a little bit flatter towards the bottom. 

Step 4 – Drawing legs

Let’s come to the sides where the eye is and we are going to draw two whiskers coming out. Of course, put the same thing on the opposite side.  Then, from there, let’s come down and we are going to draw her feet. We are going to draw our feet on both sides. We are just going to draw a curve and then taper it in.  Once again, draw the other foot. It is always easier for the other side. 

Step 5 – Drawing tail

Then, how can we draw the tail? We are just going to curve out. Just a soft curve and then round it off. Then, we are just going to bring it right back in. Let’s draw some stripes. Draw three stripes so it is one, two curves and one more. 

Step 6 – Drawing the cup

What we are missing is Pusheen’s hands. And, of course, her drinking Boba right? Let’s go ahead and we are just going to create this huge cup of full ball.  Come back to her mouth and we are going to draw a straw first. It is going to be a really thick straw because she is drinking Boba. So, straight line. Let’s bring it down. Then, we are going to go ahead and just connect it with a soft curve there. Then, from there, let’s go ahead. We are going to start to draw an oval. We are going to come down. We are going to start to create this very shallow oval. About that wide and then round it off and bring it up.

Imagine it coming through and connect their big oval right there. Then, we are going to create the cup. So, come in a little bit and about right where Pusheen’s hands should be, we are going to draw a curve. Pop in her hands there and then let’s finish this cup. So, imagine it coming through. It is all up to you to decide how big you want your cup to be. So, let’s make ours super duper extra large. Let’s come all the way down and then connect it. We have a curve at the bottom there so we are in this nice big cup. 

Step 7 – Drawing the boba

Then, to put in some details, we are going to follow the shape of our cup. So, we know, just make it look like there is liquid in there. So, just give a little gap and do the same thing at the bottom. Then, when we come to the top, let’s draw an oval to make it look like the liquid has stopped at that level. So a curve goes that way and then another curve goes that way to create the oval. If you are not comfortable drawing this, you can just go ahead and color it all in, like a light brown for the Boba. So, you do not have to draw that detail. Then, from there, let’s come in and we are going to pretend we are seeing part of the straw because it is going into the liquid.

We can finally draw our boba. So, it is all up to you how many you want to put. Just go ahead and start drawing those circles. We need to add a heart to make the cat cuter and cuter. Let’s add it right below the body of the cat.
